About the role

We are seeking a passionate Tearista to join our team at Teahee Emart,Lintas Jaya' in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As a Tearista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional tea service and expertise to our customers in a full-time role. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant hospitality environment and contribute to the success of our establishment.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing and serving a wide variety of premium teas and tea-based beverages to customers
2. Providing knowledgeable recommendations and guidance to customers on tea selection and brewing methods
3. Maintaining a clean and organised tea service area, ensuring all equipment and supplies are well-stocked
4. Assisting with inventory management and ordering of tea products
5. Participating in staff training and development activities to continually enhance your tea expertise
6. Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a barista, tea specialist or in a similar customer-facing role in the hospitality industry
2. Extensive knowledge of tea varieties, origins, flavours and brewing techniques
3. Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing an exceptional dining experience
4. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
6. Flexible and adaptable to handle changing priorities and demands
