Job Description

As a Radiographer at UTAR Hospital, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy.
  • Preparing and positioning patients accurately to ensure precise imaging results.
  • Operating and maintaining imaging equipment according to safety and quality standards.
  • Monitoring patients during procedures and providing guidance for comfort and safety.
  • Ensuring compliance with radiation safety, infection control, and hospital protocols.
  • Collaborating with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for accurate diagnosis and patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records, imaging logs, and documentation.
  • Participating in continuous professional development and training programs.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Radiography / Medical Imaging from a recognized institution.
  • Registered with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC) or relevant body.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience in diagnostic imaging (hospital setting preferred).
  • Proficiency in operating diagnostic imaging equipment (X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment.
