As a Radiographer at UTAR Hospital, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy.
- Preparing and positioning patients accurately to ensure precise imaging results.
- Operating and maintaining imaging equipment according to safety and quality standards.
- Monitoring patients during procedures and providing guidance for comfort and safety.
- Ensuring compliance with radiation safety, infection control, and hospital protocols.
- Collaborating with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for accurate diagnosis and patient care.
- Maintaining accurate patient records, imaging logs, and documentation.
- Participating in continuous professional development and training programs.
- Diploma or Degree in Radiography / Medical Imaging from a recognized institution.
- Registered with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC) or relevant body.
- Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience in diagnostic imaging (hospital setting preferred).
- Proficiency in operating diagnostic imaging equipment (X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment.
