Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Refrigeration Technician (or equivalent).
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in industrial or commercial refrigeration.
Strong knowledge of Ammonia, Freon, or CO₂ systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and P&ID diagrams.
Skilled in troubleshooting refrigeration and control systems.
Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to speak Chinese will be an advantage.
Willing to travel or work on-site as required.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with cold room construction or IQF (Individual Quick Freezing) systems.
Familiar with PLC control systems and refrigeration safety standards.
Possess a valid refrigerant handling certificate (if applicable).

Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on refrigeration equipment and cold storage systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control panels.
Conduct performance testing to ensure optimal system efficiency.
Prepare technical reports, service documentation, and maintenance logs.
Coordinate with clients, project managers, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Provide technical support and advice during commissioning or modification works.
