Rosdelima & Co., an established member firm of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), is seeking a dedicated Audit Intern for a 4-month placement at our Kuala Lumpur office.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Audit Intern, you will be an active member of our team and will be expected to:

  • Participate in the planning and preparation stages of audit engagements.
  • Prepare clear, accurate, and organized audit working papers and supporting documentation.
  • Perform foundational audit tests and verification procedures under the supervision of senior staff.
  • Assist in gathering, organizing, and analyzing client financial data.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism in all communications and tasks.
  • Provide administrative support to the audit team as required.

Our Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an individual who is eager to learn and contribute. The successful applicant will have:

  • Currently be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a closely related field.
  • A foundational understanding of accounting and auditing principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanor.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong work ethic and a commitment to learning.
  • The ability to reliably commute to our office in Setapak. (This is a firm requirement).

Internship Details

  • Compensation: RM700.00 per month
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
