About the role

Qumulo Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Cyber Security Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing cutting-edge cyber security solutions to protect our clients' critical data and infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

  • Champion Client Success: Be the go-to technical expert, troubleshoot incidents, optimize security tools, and delight our clients with clear, effective solutions.
  • Design Next-Gen Defenses: Team up and collaborate to craft robust security architectures, from designing, implementing and integrating with world class technologies.
  • Build Hands-On: Deploy, configure, and fine-tune industry-leading technologies (Endpoint Detection and Response, Secure Access Services Edge, Privilege Access Management) deployed in clients' environments.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Understand pain points, propose enhancements, and keep our clients one step ahead of adversaries.
  • Share Your Expertise: Collaborate and contribute to the team, develop innovative ideas and solutions to address industry challenges.

What we're looking for

  • Education: Recent Bachelor's Computer Science, or Cyber Security graduate or a related technical field.
  • Tech-Curious: Solid grasp of TCP/IP, routing, Windows & Linux fundamentals.
  • Security-Minded: You know basics of encryption, authentication, and access control, and you're excited to learn more.
  • Problem Solver: Analytical, detail-oriented, and energized by tackling challenges head-on.
  • Communicator: Strong written/verbal in English and Malay.
  • Independent: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
