Mechanical Drafter

Job description:

1. Able to perform and prepare drafting, detailing, dimensioning and other requirement of mechanical and electrical Technical drawings in AutoCAD.

1. Taking instruction and reporting to Engineers.

2. The Mechanical design shall include steel / FRP vessels, ducting, tanks, stacks, support structures, piping & fittings.

3. Able to created Isometric view and 2D drawings.

4. Makes any necessary changes to existing models or drawings.

5. Utilizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, materials, mechanically and other physical sciences to complete drawings.

6. Maintain the high attention to detailing, revision changes and database of drawings and transmitted documents.

7. This entry-level position will provide you the opportunity to utilize and expand your mechanical drafting skills, while working in a multi-disciplined team environment with other engineers in the preparation of design drawings based on design input.

8. Able to provide immediate supports to projects site request remotely and on site information to complete drawing design.

9. Able to produce and amend 3D models and detailed design drawings using Autodesk Revit is an advantage.

Minimum Requirements :

1. Certificates / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

2. Minimum 3 years experiences in Mechanical drafting for Engineering fabrication, consultant or equivalent fields.

3. Understanding of Mechanical engineering specification requirement (steel structures, pipes and fittings, welding requirement…etc).

4. Ability to draw from scratch / modify / edit Mechanical deliverables in Auto Cad (2D and 3D).

5. Ability to work independently, accepting ownership of assigned responsibilities.

6. Able to work well in a high pressure environment with continuous changes.

7. Good written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills and good interpersonal skills.

8. Able to start immediately.
