About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Developer to manage our CMS, which is built on the Odoo 14 framework. You will be responsible for the maintenance, debugging, and continuous development of the system to support our daily operations.

While experience with Odoo is an advantage, we are open to hiring a strong Python Developer who is willing to learn the Odoo architecture. The primary focus will be on system stability, data integrity, and internal tool integration.

Requirements:

  • Programming Languages: Proficient in Python.
  • Database: Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL (ability to troubleshoot and query data directly).
  • Web Technologies: Understanding of HTML, XML, and JavaScript.
  • Operating System: Familiarity with Linux (Ubuntu) environments.

  • Added Advantage (Not Mandatory):

  • Prior experience with Odoo (any version).

  • Experience with Python web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
  • Experience with Python libraries for Excel (e.g., pandas, openpyxl) is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Feature Development: Develop and implement new functions for existing modules to meet user requirements.

  • Data Integrity & Database Management:

  • Identify and resolve bugs that cause incorrect data entries.

  • Perform direct modifications in the PostgreSQL database to correct historical data discrepancies.
  • External System Integration: Develop solutions for data interaction between the CMS and other departmental tools, specifically automating data exchange with existing Excel/VBA calculators.
  • Debugging & Maintenance: Perform troubleshooting, fix system errors, and ensure the stability of the Odoo framework and custom codes.
