Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Maintenance and Mechanical Engineer located in Seremban. The Maintenance and Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the design, maintenance, and optimization of manufacturing machinery and equipment. The role includes developing machine designs, utilizing CAD software, executing maintenance programs, managing project timelines, and contributing to R&D initiatives. The candidate will also ensure compliance with safety standards and enhance operational efficiency through innovation and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design
  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools
  • Experience in Project Management and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Competence in Research and Development (R&D) processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced on-site manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Familiarity with industry safety and regulatory standards
  • Prior experience in the furniture manufacturing sector is advantageous
