The Equipment Engineering Technician is responsible for supporting the maintenance, repair, and optimization of manufacturing equipment. This role involves hands-on work to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency, as well as assisting engineers with various technical tasks.
Specific Duties And Responsibilities
Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, working closely with engineers to implement effective solutions.
Installation: Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment modifications.
Compliance: Ensure all equipment and processes comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Support: Provide technical support to production teams, helping to resolve equipment-related issues promptly.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
Complying to procedures that aligned with certification of QMS, EMS, and OSH Management Systems/ Standards.
Position Requirement
Position : Equipment Technician/Senior Technician
Education : Diploma in electronics or electromechanical engineering
Experience : years of experience in the electronics industry
Skill
- Strong technical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment management software.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
