About the role
MILDEF INTERNATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES SDN BHD' is seeking an experienced CANBUS Engineer to join our team in Bandar Sri Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our advanced automotive communication systems, working on cutting-edge technologies that are shaping the future of the industry.
What you'll be doing
- Designing, developing and testing CAN bus protocols and related software for our vehicle systems
- Integrating CAN bus components and ensuring seamless communication between various automotive systems
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to CAN bus implementation
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise CAN bus performance and reliability
- Developing diagnostic tools and procedures to monitor and maintain CAN bus networks
- Documenting technical specifications, design decisions and operational processes
- Providing technical support and training to our engineering and production teams
What we're looking for
- 8+ years of experience in automotive electronics or embedded systems development, with a strong focus on CAN bus technologies
- Proficient in CAN bus protocol, ISO 11898, and related automotive communication standards
- Hands-on experience in developing CAN bus-based applications using microcontrollers and associated software tools
- Strong understanding of automotive architectures, diagnostic systems, and integration challenges
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Familiarity with automotive testing methodologies, simulation tools, and validation processes
- Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
