We are seeking a proactive
Business Analyst
to lead the planning and requirement gathering for a new
website
. The role involves analyzing business processes, identifying user needs, and translating them into functional and technical requirements for developers. You will work closely with management, operation teams, and external developers to ensure the website effectively supports our system workflow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering & Analysis
  • Collaborate with management and operations teams to understand current rental workflows and challenges.
  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements for website development (including client portal, admin dashboard, and reporting modules).
  • Translate business processes into
    clear system requirements
    , flowcharts, and use cases.
  • System Design & Documentation
  • Prepare detailed
    Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
    ,
    User Stories
    , and
    Functional Specifications
    .
  • Map end-to-end process flows covering quotation, contract, inventory tracking, maintenance, billing, and client communication.
  • Define data structure and integration needs (e.g., linking with inventory, accounting, or RFID systems).
  • Project Coordination
  • Serve as the
    bridge between business users and developers
    .
  • Participate in sprint planning, provide feedback on UI/UX wireframes, and verify feature functionality during testing.
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure issues are resolved before go-live.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvement in rental operations.
  • Recommend practical digital solutions that align with business goals.

Requirements

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience:
    Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or System Analyst, preferably in web or system development projects.
  • Knowledge:
  • Understanding of
    rental or inventory-based business models
    is an advantage.
  • Familiar with
    system development life cycle (SDLC)
    and
    Agile methodology
    .
  • Basic understanding of web applications, databases, and integrations (e.g., API, ERP linkage).
  • Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to visualize workflows and translate them into system logic.
  • Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Visio, , Jira, or similar.
