IOW (Electrical)

About the role

JURUTERA PERUNDING RCS SDN BHD' is seeking an experienced IOW (Electrical) to join our team in Tongod, Sabah. This contract role will be responsible for overseeing the electrical aspects of our projects, ensuring they are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the execution of electrical works, including installation, testing and commissioning
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, regulations and safety standards
• Liaise with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to coordinate electrical activities
• Identify and resolve electrical issues that arise during project implementation
• Prepare electrical reports and documentation as required
• Provide technical guidance and support to the project team
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of electrical processes and procedures

What we're looking for

• Diploma/ Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline
• Minimum 5 years' experience as an IOW (Electrical) or in a similar role
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, equipment and installations
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, regulations and safety standards
