We are currently looking for a dynamic and motivated QRE Engineer to strengthen our team.This position plays a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through effective problem-solving, quality monitoring, and coordination between the customer and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the company's on-site representative at the customer's facility (e.g. Perodua, Toyota, Proton) for all product quality-related matters.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints or rejection reports promptly and professionally.
- Prepare problem analysis reports using 8D / 5 Why / Fishbone Analysis methods.
- Coordinate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) with the QA/QC and Production teams at HQ.
- Monitor daily quality performance at the customer site, including defect trend analysis and containment activities.
- Ensure all PPAP / APQP / Control Plan / FMEA documents are updated in accordance with customer requirements.
- Support customer and internal quality audits (Customer Audit / Process Audit / Layered Process Audit).
- Liaise closely with R&D, Production, and QA teams to ensure effective implementation of corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of working experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience in the automotive industry is a strong advantage.
- Position level and responsibilities will be based on experience and expertise.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Working Conditions:
- Based at Serendah working plant (Initial training at Bukit Beruntung)
- May require occasional shift work or overtime depending on production needs.
