DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-- Lead IT team in analyzing and recommending improvements to the overall operational efficiencies of IT infrastructure (Network, Server, Cloud Systems, Storage, Backup, etc.)
- To ensure IT infrastructure ready to support current and future business requirements.
- Lead IT team to ensure proactively addressing user requests, identify and troubleshoot problems, and provide timely advice to meet user requirements, ensuring smooth operation of end-user systems and their availability.
- Oversee daily monitoring, patch updates, configuration reviews, and hardware replacements as necessary to maintain infrastructure health and performance.
- Liaise and negotiate with vendors to ensure all projects, services, and tasks are implemented according to agreed time frame, specifications and costing.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, system manuals, workflow processes, procedures, and guidelines in line with established SOPs.
- Ensure timely completion of new equipment setups or configuration changes according to maintenance schedules or recommended updates.
- Conduct effective Program and System Integration Testing, gathering feedback and validating revisions, ensuring systems meet operational requirements.
- Support ERP system (Microsoft AX system) and document management software (Globodox) for production related procedures, ensuring compliance and alignment with quality standards.
- Assist all areas of IT infrastructure for continuous and smooth operations within the IT department.
- Mentor and develop the IT team to enhance their technical skills and promote effective teamwork, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Perform additional tasks or assignments as directed by management, adapting to evolving business needs.
- Minimum Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with professional IT certifications being a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of working experience in a manufacturing company, with relevant exposure to ERP systems in the field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of diagnosing and resolving software and hardware issues in a manufacturing context.
