About the Role

We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer with a strong foundation in backend and web application development. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You'll be responsible for developing scalable web applications, optimizing database structures, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of our products. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the technical growth of our development team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP (7/8) and MySQL
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards
  • Integrate front-end components with server-side logic
  • Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and other team members to deliver high-quality software
  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Develop and maintain APIs and third-party integrations
  • Contribute to technical documentation and project planning discussions
  • Implement security best practices and data protection measures
  • Work with version control systems and deployment pipelines

Requirements

Technical Skills

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development
  • Strong understanding of MySQL database design, query optimization, and data modeling
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery, and familiarity with modern frameworks (e.g., , React)
  • Experience with MVC frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony
  • Good understanding of RESTful API design and JSON-based communication
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Experience with Linux server environments and Apache/Nginx configuration

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Good communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
  • Proactive approach to learning and staying updated with technology trends
  • Ability to mentor junior developers and share knowledge
  • Familiarity with AI-powered development tools and modern coding assistance platforms

  • Experience with Linux server administration or Docker containerization
  • Knowledge of unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, or automated deployment tools
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or DigitalOcean)

  • Advanced knowledge of jQuery for DOM manipulation and AJAX operations
