Job Title:
Software Engineer (Advanced C#, MS .Net Framework, MS Visual Studio & WCF Technologies)
Location:
Penang, Malaysia
Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
Must-Have
- Candidate must possess minimum of a Bachelor's or master's in computer science (or equivalent) with 8-10 years of software design and development experience.
- Candidate must be able to perform with minimum supervision.
- Experience in Microsoft Windows platform using Advanced C#, MS .Net Framework, MS Visual Studio and WCF technologies is a must.
- Factory Automation experience with development and support of mission critical systems
- Experience specifying and programming equipment interfaces using SECS/GEM equipment protocol standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent knowledge of product life cycle and software development life cycles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate a high level of flexibility and adaptive to different manufacturing environment.
- Strong customer orientation skills, proactive and provide prompt troubleshooting to address production escalation.
- Ability to interface with customers and/or stakeholders from remote sites.
- Experience in managing external suppliers to deliver specified software products.
