Purpose Statement:
To provide strategic leadership to the APAC engineering function, setting the direction to fully optimize equipment lifecycle management and utilization throughout the region. This position is responsible for improving regional metrics and championing a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that all equipment assets deliver maximum efficiency, quality, and safety

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Manage and coordinate capital asset forecasts and equipment, including upgrade and replacement plans for production equipment and facilities systems.
  • Coordinate the implementation of Engineering metrics and standardization in line with SOPs, WIs, and SFTs.
  • Develop and implement major improvement programs in areas of quality, output, yield, and cost reduction.
  • To bridge communication and strategy between site and global engineering teams, ensuring regional goals are in full alignment with corporate strategy.
  • Spearhead the selection, evaluation, and qualification of equipment in partnership with regional and global cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Responsible for the successful deployment of global standards to streamline processes and standardize best practices across the region
  • Manage and guide centralized maintenance team, ensuring flawless execution of PM schedule and full compliance with machine maintenance protocols, ensuring each individual is empowered to deliver on their responsibilities with full accountability
  • To build and strengthen the technical expertise of site teams by providing hands-on mentorship in SMT processes equipment operation and maintenance. Responsible for identifying and closing technical competency gaps.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Seven (7) years of related experience is required; Ten (10) years of related experience is preferred.
  • Proven leadership skills and management experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
