Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our kitchen team. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes, portion sizes, and presentation requirements.
  • Ensure all dishes are delivered on time and consistently meet quality, taste, and visual standards.
  • Assist in menu preparation, ingredient portioning, and mise en place before each service.
  • Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards throughout the kitchen.
  • Monitor ingredient inventory and promptly report shortages or spoilage to the superior.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of food items to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any malfunctions or hazards immediately.
  • Support kitchen assistants and coordinate effectively with service staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Comply with all food handling procedures, hygiene guidelines, and company SOPs.
  • Assist in daily closing duties such as cleaning, waste disposal, and stock checks.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the Chef or superior.

Job Requirements

  • Prior experience as a cook or in a similar kitchen role is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen hygiene practices.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Responsible, disciplined, and committed to maintaining food quality and consistency.
  • Willing to work weekends, public holidays, and night shifts.
  • Positive attitude and a strong team-player mindset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,300.00 per month
