About the role

Join OGC Builder Sdn Bhd as an Interior Designer and play a key role in shaping the visual identity and functionality of our clients' spaces. This full-time position is based in Bintulu, Sarawak, where you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative and practical interior design solutions.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for their space
• Develop detailed design concepts, plans and renderings that bring the client's vision to life
• Select and source appropriate materials, furniture, fixtures and equipment to complement the design
• Manage the implementation of design projects, coordinating with contractors and suppliers
• Ensure all design work complies with relevant building codes and regulations
• Stay up-to-date with the latest interior design trends and technologies
• Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on design best practices

What we're looking for

• Degree in Interior Design or a related field
• Minimum 3 years' experience as an Interior Designer, preferably in the commercial or residential sector
• Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent problem-solving, time management and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Understanding of building codes, construction methods and material selection
• Creativity and a keen eye for aesthetics, functionality and attention to detail
