JOB DESCRIPTION

Datacenter On-site Engineers will work within the server or network rack lifecycle process with a focus on helping buildout data centers and daily operation. This position will work to assist manufacturers or system engineers to resolve server or network device failures or provide other on-site supports.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be the first point of contact for manufacturers' technicians, escorting them and manage their issues.

  • Perform power cycles, troubleshooting, and replacing some failed components, such as AOC, PSU, hard drive.

  • Simple cabling work.

  • Physically assist in moving and installing equipment, especially final inspections.

  • Participate in an on-call rotation.

  • Receive goods to datacenter.

  • Assist with inventory and asset management.

  • Keep the security of data center.

  • Walk through the data center every day, keep data and report issues.
