Our client Optima Tricon Sdn Bhd. is seeking a QA Inspector / QA Engineer to join their team

This is a fantastic opportunity for a QA Inspector / QA Engineer to make a significant impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met, from inspecting incoming materials to preparing detailed reports and recommending improvements to the production process.

What you'll be doing?
  • Inspect Quality: Perform quality assessments on all incoming materials and outgoing products, including FAI inspection.
  • Prepare Reports: Create detailed First Article Inspection Reports for customers.
  • Identify Issues: Detect quality issues and recommend improvements to the production process.
  • Investigate Non-conformities: Investigate non-conformities, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain Documentation: Keep records and reports up to date.
  • Provide Guidance: Offer technical guidance and assistance to team members.
  • Liaison with Customers: Communicate with customers on product acceptance tests, complaints, and corrective actions.
  • Report Status: Provide timely and accurate QA status to the QA Lead / QA Manager.
  • Additional Tasks: Undertake other assigned responsibilities as needed.
Who are they looking for?
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with GD&T, quality testing equipment, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within the manufacturing industry.
  • Additional Skills: Ability to use CMM machines is an advantage.
