Position Summary

Shipping Supervisor

Duties

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Logistics Coordination and Warehouse Management
  • Assist in monitoring shipment status and resolve delays or issues promptly.
  • Assist in supervising team to perform daily task operations of receiving, dispatching and inspection.
  • Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming goods in an organised and efficient manner.
  • Assist to dispatching outgoing orders to meet customer requirements.
  • Assist load and unload of vehicles and perform general movement of goods in factory.
  • Ensuring the warehouse environment is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Assist in organize the warehouse space, ensure all batches to be processed or dispatched can be clearly identified.
  • Providing support to the wider operations team as required.
  • Documentation Management
  • Prepare, review and update documentation records related to shipping.
  • Assist in documents compilation and maintain accurate records of shipments.
  • Quality Assurance in Shipping
  • Verify that all incoming and outgoing shipments meet quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Report any non-conformance found on pre- and post processing to immediate superior and quarantine the product as per SOP.For damage carton, follow up on the investigation and closure.
  • Support in Customer Complaints / NCR / CAPA investigation and follow up until closure.

  • Perform any ad-hoc tasks or assignments as required by management and support operational needs.
  • Adhere to company rules, policies, procedures and QMS requirements, ensuring compliance with quality standard.
  • Contributes to maintaining a safe and clean working environment and reporting any unsafe conditions to facility management.
  • Protects company confidential information by properly storing, retrieving and disseminating such information only to those authorized.
  • Exhibits a commitment to the AST shared values of Customer Satisfaction and Continuous Improvement through ensuring defect-free workmanship, assisting others to meet the Customer's needs, searching for efficient and effective ways to reduce waste, being active and accountable for Customer satisfaction, and satisfying the Customer's needs with a sense of urgency.

Education Degree

High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience
At least 2 years experience in Shipping

Able to handle forklif

Good Team Player and Supportive
