Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position for an Oracle Database Administrator located in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The role involves managing, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle databases to ensure the availability, performance, and security of critical data systems. Responsibilities include tasks such as installation, configuration, replication, troubleshooting, and implementing security measures for databases. Proactive monitoring and collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues are also key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration and general Database Administration practices is required.
  • Experience with database replication processes and ability to handle data consistency and redundancy effectively.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and resolve database-related issues.
  • Knowledge and application of robust Database Security measures to ensure the protection of data and systems.
  • Proficiency in system analysis and optimization, as well as familiarity with database management tools, are advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience or certifications in Oracle database technologies are a plus.
