Food Technologist

Responsibilities:

• Assist QA Manager to manage QA functions in the laboratory.
• Implement and maintain Quality / Food Safety Management Systems.
• Handling customer / supplier audits and quality enquiries.
• Monitor changes in regulatory requirements i.e. Food Act 1983 and regulations made thereunder and other related quality and food safety standards.
• Conduct quality and testing improvement when necessary.
• Provide work related training when necessary.

Requirements:

• Degree in Food Technology / Food Science / Chemistry / any Science related discipline.
• Training / Working experience in HACCP/ ISO 22000/ FSSC 22000 will be an advantage.
• Proficient in spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Willing to travel outstation or overseas when required.
• At least 2 - 3 years working experience in the food industry is preferred.
• Candidate with more than 5 years working experience and relevant skills can be considered for a senior position.
