M&E Draftperson

About the role

We are seeking an experienced M&E Draftsperson to join our talented team at JURUTERA PERUNDING RCS SDN BHD' in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and designs for our engineering projects.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare detailed mechanical, electrical and plumbing (M&E) design drawings using CAD software
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project requirements and translate them into accurate technical drawings
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant building codes, regulations and industry standards
• Provide support during the construction phase by addressing queries and making necessary revisions to drawings
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation and records
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of drafting processes and standards

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience as an M&E Draftsperson in the engineering industry
• Proficient in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, for producing technical drawings
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and their design principles
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, well-organised drawings
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineers and project stakeholders
• Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations and industry standards
