JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Transporting goods: Forklift drivers move materials from one location to another within a facility, loading and unloading trucks, shelves, or pallets.
  • Stacking and organizing: They are responsible for stacking items on racks or shelves, ensuring items are stored safely and organized properly.
  • Inventory management: Often, forklift drivers are involved in tracking inventory, either by scanning barcodes, assisting in stocktaking, or reporting discrepancies in material quantities.
  • Safety: Ensuring safe operation of the forklift, adhering to safety protocols, and inspecting the forklift to make sure it's in proper working condition.
  • Load management: They ensure that the weight distribution on the forklift is balanced, avoiding accidents or damage to the load.
