Wallhub is a design-driven wallcovering and surface solutions brand, known for premium wallpapers, customised murals, textured coatings, and in-house application expertise. As we continue to grow our presence in Malaysia, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on Country Manager to lead our local operations and expansion.

This role is ideal for someone who is commercially sharp, operationally grounded, and comfortable building a market with autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Operations Leadership

  • Oversee sales strategy, pricing, and project pipeline management
  • Take an active role in selected key accounts and strategic client relationships
  • Support major sales opportunities and guide the local sales team on proposals and negotiations
  • Manage local operations including project coordination, installations, and after-sales support
  • Work closely with Singapore HQ and regional leadership to ensure alignment on strategy and execution

Business & Market Development

  • Lead and grow Wallhub's business in Malaysia, with clear revenue and growth targets
  • Identify and develop opportunities across residential, commercial, hospitality, and design-led projects
  • Build strong relationships with interior designers, architects, developers, and key partners
  • Drive brand presence and positioning in the Malaysia market, aligned with Wallhub's regional direction

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Build, manage, and mentor the Malaysia team (sales, operations, installers, or partners)
  • Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and external stakeholders
  • Maintain operational discipline, reporting, and basic financial oversight
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior management, country management, or business lead role
  • Background in interior finishes, building materials, interior design, renovation, or related industries is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of the Malaysia market and local business landscape
  • Commercially driven, yet hands-on and comfortable being involved in day-to-day operations
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently while aligning with regional strategy
  • Based in Malaysia; willing to work closely with Singapore HQ
