IT executive

Job Scope

• Oversee and manage IT support requests, addressing a high volume of technical issues to ensure timely resolution and exceptional service delivery.
• Provide 1st and 2nd level support for technical issues involving desktop clients, standard and client applications, and hardware issues.  Deliver technical services to end-users, troubleshooting issues related to personal computers, applications, and IP phones (Android/iPhone).
• Manage and maintain Windows 10 and 11 operating systems, MS Office applications, and network connectivity, including printer mapping and configurations.  Configure and troubleshoot email messaging issues in Outlook, ensuring seamless communication across the organization.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting on notebooks and PCs down to the board level, setting up peripheral devices, connecting devices to the network, and installing/replacing hardware components (eg: hard drives).
• Spearhead IT projects, including network upgrades and system implementations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network infrastructure improvements, including RJ45 cabling, faceplate upgrades, and network device configuration.
• Conduct assessments of user hardware specifications to facilitate upgrades and ensure optimal performance.
• Mentor junior IT staff, providing guidance, knowledge sharing, and hands-on support tofoster a collaborative team environment.
• Engage in continuous professional development, staying abreast of emerging technologies and IT best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Diploma in Computer Science or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in a similar role, with demonstrated expertise in IT administration.
• In-depth knowledge of computer troubleshooting, Windows 10 and 11, Windows Server management, and networking concepts.
• Proficient in a variety of computer software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Strong understanding of networking equipment, including routers, switches, and firewall configurations.
• Ability to perform multi-tasking with effective time-management skills, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of LAN cabling, WiFi access points, and switches troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with PBX telephone systems and VolP technology.
• Certification in CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or similar networking qualifications is a plus.
• Basic knowledge in Microsoft Power Apps.(Create and Design workflow)
• Basic knowledge in manufacturing system environment ERP (D365), MRP

Pay: RM2, RM7,000.00 per month
