Responsibilities:

· Participate in custom enterprise application development and maintenance for large corporations both within Asia and worldwide.

· Participate in the software development life-cycle.

· Lead the development, design, and implementation of applications and changes to existing information systems and software packages.

· Perform system analysis, design, testing, system integration and documentation whenever necessary.

· Provide recommendations and to assist in the preparation of project plans, time and resource

estimates, task tracking, reporting & completion to deadline of assigned tasks or team, and priorities.

· Strong communication skills with ability to communicate with middle management team, internal & external stakeholders.

· Guide, mentor & train the team to deliver and carve the career growth plans for your team.

· Any other tasks assigned by the Management as and when required.


Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Experience:

· Candidate must possess a relevant qualification in Software Engineering.

· A minimum of 10 years working experience in software application development relevant to the following skill sets:

o   Java (J2EE/JEE)

o   Experienced in Spring frameworks, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JSF, Struts,

o   SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript,

o   RDBMS analysis and design (DB2, Oracle, MS-SQL etc.)

· Nice to have:

o   Angular or ReactJS

o   Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban or similar)

o   Insurance knowledge

· Strong problem-solving skills.

· Possess at least a Degree in IT or equivalent.
