About the role

Perunding Hashim & Neh Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of innovative electrical systems and solutions. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects and contribute to the growth and success of our company.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare electrical design drawings, layouts, and technical specifications for projects.
  • Calculate electrical load and design power distribution, lighting, and ELV systems.
  • Review and approve shop drawings and materials submitted by contractors.
  • Attend site meetings and conduct inspections to ensure work follows design and standards.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations (Suruhanjaya Tenaga, MS, IEC standards).
  • Assist in project planning, cost estimation, and tender documentation.
  • Provide technical support during construction and testing/commissioning stages.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in consultancy or building services design.
  • Familiar with AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of electrical design standards and codes.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fresh graduates with strong academic background are encouraged to apply (for junior positions).
