About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Store Assistant to join our team at Salam Point Grocery' in Kelana Jaya, Selangor. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our grocery store.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting customers with their shopping needs and inquiries
  • Stocking and replenishing shelves, ensuring products are displayed neatly and accurately
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the store, including cleaning and tidying
  • Operating the cash register and handling customer transactions accurately
  • Receiving and processing deliveries, checking inventory and stock levels
  • Providing support to the store manager and team as required

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably in a grocery or similar environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with operating cash registers and basic inventory management
  • A positive, friendly and helpful attitude
