About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Executive/Executive (Construction & Developer) to join the team at Pinnacle Homes Groups of Companies, a leading construction and property development company based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing and managing strategic all financial guidance and oversight to our construction and property development operations, playing a critical part in our continued success.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and oversee all financial aspects of construction and property development projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Prepare, processing and maintain accurate financial analysis and recommendations to support the company's strategic decision-making process
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial and accounting standards, tax regulations, internal and company policies
• Prepare and manage to present the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for construction and property development projects
• Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, other financial planning activities and treasury analyses
• Collaborate with internal departments, project managers, site supervisors, other internal and external stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and controls
• Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures

• Providing support and guidance to the finance team, as needed. Supervise and mentor to develop junior members of the finance team, as required

• Continuously identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls

• Generating financial reports, statements, and analysis to support management decision-making

• Liaising with internal departments, external stakeholders, such as auditors and tax authorities
• Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior/ head of department

What we're looking for

• Least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar finance role, preferably within the construction and property development industry
• Strong understanding of financial management, accounting principles, standards, procedures, regulatory requirements and treasury operations
• Excellent analytical, attention to detail, a commitment to accuracy, problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking with the ability to interpret financial data and make strategic recommendations
• Proficient in the use of financial software and reporting tools in major Microsoft Windows and Office suite would be added advantages
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Proven track record of managing and developing finance teams

• Relevant professional qualifications, such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field equivalent, and a professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is highly desirable

• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and as part of a team

• Proficient in written and spoken in English, Bahasa Malay and Mandarin to effectively communicate with especially Mandarin-speaking all levels of internal and external stakeholders. Ability to communicate local dialects with all levels of stakeholders internally/externally would be an added advantage
• Confident, proactive and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
