Reception Teacher

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or Cambridge Primary curriculum.
  • Foster a safe, caring, and stimulating classroom environment that supports early childhood development.
  • Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, and continuous assessment reports.
  • Observe, assess, and record each child's progress and development.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and the school team.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives and maintain high teaching standards.
  • Ensure the classroom and learning areas are well-organised and conducive to learning.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience teaching Reception or Early Years students, preferably in an international school setting.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English.
  • Passionate about early childhood development and holistic education.
  • Patient, creative, and able to engage with young learners in a positive manner.
  • Available to begin in [insert month/year, e.g. January 2026].
