About the role

Join our dynamic team at Cadbury Confectionary Malaysia Sdn Bhd as a Multi Skilled Operator. In this full-time position based in Shah Alam, Selangor, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment to ensure the smooth and efficient production of our beloved confectionery products.

What you'll be doing


•  Able to maintain and troubleshoot minor machine issues


•  Able to operate at line's machines ( Depositors, Temprers, Packaging machines….etc)


•  Able to perform planned maintenance and lubrication to machines.


•  Replace operator in other area or line whenever required


•   Attend mandatory trainings (GMP, HALAL, Safety,  HACCP) and other training required for the role


•  Involve in implementation and development of continuous improvement program


•  Update daily checklist & generate report together with Shift Leader and act as Shift Leader during the

absence of Shift Leader


•  Ensure machine and working area cleaning and sanitation carried out in timely manner


•  Ensure all standard operating procedures & standard work process are implemented effectively


•  Able to perform product changeover


•  Performing preventive maintenance for machines along with technicians


•  Able to work along with maintenance technicians in troubleshooting major machine down issues


•  Attend machine minor stoppages and able to summarize the issue and propose solutions


•  Involve in IL6s activities at line/plant level


•  Comply with food quality policies and regulation as per company's standard


•  Updating and analyzing machines loss maps


•  Perform any other tasks assigned by supervisor

What we're looking for

  • Diploma holder in any field related to machinery, electrical, mechanical or TVET background
  • Diploma holder with relevant experience in machine operation and production in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the food or confectionery industry. Fresh entry level encourage to apply.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and maintain production equipment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to upholding quality and safety standards
  • Flexible and adaptable to handle changing priorities and deadlines
  • Good communication skills to interact with team members and report on production activities
