Motorcycle Inspector

Job Summary

The Motorcycle Inspector is responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections on motorcycles offered by sellers, ensuring all units meet company standards before purchase. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with sellers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections on potential motorcycles to be purchased from sellers, following the company's 170+ inspection checklist.
• Assess overall motorcycle condition including mechanical, technical, electrical, and safety aspects.
• Carry out static (stationary) tests and on-road tests to evaluate motorcycle's performance and overall health.
• Document all inspection results accurately and prepare detailed reports to be sent to the Pricing Team for valuation and decision-making.
• Coordinate and communicate inspection outcomes professionally with sellers.
• Negotiate with sellers to secure the best possible purchase price based on inspection results and market value.
• Support sellers with procedures such as ownership transfer, documentation, and other related processes to ensure a smooth transaction experience.
• Cross collaboration with internal department from time to time

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or possess skill certificate in
• motorcycle technician.
• 1 to 2 years relevant working experience. Those with hands-on mechanic work related experience are an added value.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of motorcycle systems.
• Keen eye for detail and ability to identify even minor faults or discrepancies.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Good understanding and ability to handle measurement tools / instruments.
• Must possess a valid motorcycle license and at least 2 years of motorcycle riding experience.
• Good communication skills with the ability to speak and write in English and Bahasa.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
