Nursing Tutor

Job Description:

• Responsible for promoting quality nursing care in the clinical area by teaching all aspects of nursing education.
• Responsible and accountable for the implementation of the Diploma in Nursing and Post Basic programs in order to produce registered nurses.
• Plan, organize and coordinate learning experiences of students to ensure their learning objectives are met.
• Develop, analyze, implement and evaluate nursing programs that are conducted in the College of Nursing.
• Collaborate with the nursing team from the clinical division in coordinating the Diploma in Nursing and Post Basic programs.
• Act as a clinical expert in the education and nursing program development of the healthcare team.
• Conduct classroom teachings in accordance of the curriculum and best practices in nursing outcomes.
• Perform timely and necessary preparations for students' assessment, examination and evaluation in both theory and practical.
• Participate in events and meetings pertaining to nursing education in Nursing Board, MOHE, MQA and other external agencies.

Requirement:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or higher, approved by the Nursing Board Malaysia.
• Possess an active 
  Post Basic
  certification and 
  Annual Practicing Certificates (APC)
   in any field.
• Minimum 
  3 years
   of working experience in a nursing school.
