Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching & Learning
    • Deliver lectures, tutorials, and workshops in epidemiology, health promotion, biostatistics, and health systems.
    • Integrate case studies on communicable and non-communicable diseases, health equity, and social determinants of health.
    • Mentor students in research projects and public health fieldwork.
  • Research & Scholarship
    • Lead research programs in areas such as infectious disease control, health policy evaluation, or community health interventions.
    • Publish in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences.
    • Secure external funding for applied public health research.
  • Administration & Leadership
    • Contribute to curriculum development and accreditation in public health programs.
    • Serve on faculty committees related to ethics, research governance, or community engagement.
    • Build partnerships with ministries of health, NGOs, and international agencies.
Essential Qualifications
  • PhD or DrPH in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related field.
  • Demonstrated teaching experience in public health or medical education.
  • Strong research record with publications and funded projects.
  • Experience in curriculum design and academic leadership.
