This role requires excellent analytical skills and compliance knowledge.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Analyze and review data to determine appropriate balances and activityMonth-end close activities, preparing journal entriesMonthly close analytics, variance analysis, including ad hoc reportsPerform and validate monthly account reconciliationsReview legal contracts, where applicableMaintain expertise of internal policies and regulatory compliance requirementsEnsure compliance to SOX and internal controlProvide training to internal customers and peersCommunicate with business partners and finance analystsProvide support to Stakeholders, including external auditorsPresenting information to Finance ManagementProactively highlight challenges on financial data to Stakeholders and address risk and concernAd hoc task as assignDrive process improvement, automation, and standardization for GFC  Key Skill/CompetenciesIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skillsSAP experience highly desirable, S4 will be an advantageExperience in Blackline and Ariba preferredExperience in data analysis & result orientedDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to act and operate independently with minimal supervision / directionAbility to work under strict deadlines in a rapidly changing environmentAbility to think broadly and connect-the-dot on complex mattersAbility to manage change sensitively and in a collaborative mannerEducation & ExperienceQualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or Degree in Accounting/Finance.> 5 years audit experience preferredShared service experience with US GAAP preferredIndia GAAP knowledge / experience is an advantageAbout Micron Technology, Inc.We are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
