CSA Engineer

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, your role will encompass the overall coordination, supervision, and quality control on CSA related matters on site:

  1. Project Oversight & Support: Actively support the Project Manager in achieving project goals related to safety, schedule, cost, and quality across all site activities.
  2. Site Coordination: Facilitate and manage the coordination of various trades (Civil, Structural, Architectural, and other related works) to ensure smooth operations.

  3. Design & Quality Assurance:

  4. Review and verify construction against approved design drawings and material specifications.

  5. Identify and check for discrepancies between design and construction drawings.

  6. Subcontractor & Supplier Management:

  7. Liaise effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and customers.

  8. Supervise, check, and report on the performance of subcontractors and suppliers.
  9. Jointly prepare necessary work method statements and Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs) with specialist subcontractors.

  10. Safety & Reporting:

  11. Actively enhance safety awareness throughout the construction period.

  12. Monitor and periodically report the project's progress status to the Project Manager as directed.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural Engineering or equivalent.
  • Working experience in construction, preferably industrial & data centers.
  • Solid understanding of construction standards, construction drawings, and local authority requirements.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills to manage multiple stakeholders (subcontractors, consultants, and clients)
