Position : Shop Assistant Manager (Japanese Restaurant)

Location : Desa Tebrau, Johor Bahru

Salary : RM3,400

Working Hours: 10:00am – 10:00pm (Shift basis, 9 hours per day including 1 hour break)

Working Days: 6 days per week

Job Scope

We are seeking a committed and proactive Shop Assistant Manager to support daily restaurant operations and ensure a high standard of service quality, cleanliness, and team performance.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in overseeing daily store operations including service quality, staff management, stock control, and cleanliness
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by ensuring prompt and professional service at all times
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and on-job training for team members
  • Monitor inventory levels, coordinate ordering and receiving of supplies, and ensure proper documentation
  • Handle staff scheduling, performance guidance, and work discipline
  • Resolve customer enquiries and operational issues effectively and professionally
  • Maintain compliance with company SOPs, hygiene standards, and workplace safety
  • Assist in achieving sales goals and operational targets
  • Perform administrative duties and other tasks assigned by management

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in relevant field OR minimum 2 years experience in F&B supervisory/restaurant management role
  • Familiar with daily restaurant operations and team coordination
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage both staff and guests
  • Able to work under fast-paced environment and handle operational challenges
  • Good planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and make sound decisions
  • Positive work attitude and strong sense of responsibility

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to RM3,400.00 per month
