IBM Cloudpak

We are seeking a skilled and certified 
IBM Cloud Pak for Applications
to design, modernize, and deploy cloud-native applications using IBM Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing applications with modern architectures such as microservices, containers, and Kubernetes, while leveraging IBM Cloud Pak for Applications to support enterprise-grade deployment and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy 
  cloud-native applications
   using IBM Cloud Pak for Applications.
• Modernize existing enterprise applications by leveraging 
  Red Hat OpenShift
  , 
  Liberty
  , 
  Spring Boot
  , and 
  microservices architecture
  .
• Utilize tools like 
  Transformation Advisor
  , 
  Mono2Micro
  , and 
  Application Navigator
   to assess, refactor, and containerize legacy applications.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines using 
  Tekton
  , 
  Jenkins
  , or 
  GitLab
   for automated build, test, and deployment.
• Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to ensure smooth deployment on 
  OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)
  .
• Integrate applications with middleware such as 
  IBM MQ
  , 
  API Connect
  , and 
  Event Streams
  .
• Ensure applications follow 
  security, compliance, and performance
   best practices.
• Create technical documentation, user guides, and deployment guides.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• IBM Certified Application – Cloud Pak for Applications
• 3–5 years of enterprise Java experience
• Strong understanding of 
  Java EE / Jakarta EE
  , 
  Spring Boot
  , and 
  MicroProfile
• Experience with 
  Red Hat OpenShift
  , 
  Kubernetes
  , and 
  Docker
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Tekton)
• Familiarity with 
  cloud-native
  principles and 
  Twelve-Factor App
   methodology
• Ability to use 
  Transformation Advisor
  , 
  App Modernization Tools
  , and 
  Cloud Pak CLI
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
