We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing site safety compliance and ensuring all work activities are conducted in accordance with Malaysian occupational safety and health regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure daily compliance with site safety regulations as per DOSH and CIDB requirements.
  • Monitor site operations to identify safety hazards and take corrective actions.
  • Conduct daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings for all site personnel.
  • Prepare and submit Safety Reports, Daily Safety Inspection Checklists, and Accident Reports to management and relevant authorities.
  • Enforce use of PPE and safe work practices among workers and subcontractors.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the site's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Plan.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
  • Liaise with main contractors, consultants, and enforcement agencies (e.g., DOSH, CIDB, JKKP) during inspections.
  • Investigate incidents/accidents and recommend corrective/preventive actions.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid Site Safety Supervisor Certificate from NIOSH Malaysia.
  • Registered with DOSH (JKKP).
  • At least 2–3 years of working experience in construction site safety supervision.
  • Familiar with OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, and relevant CIDB/DOSH guidelines.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and enforce safety protocols firmly.
