BILLCHEM was established by its founding members who are veterans in the chemical industry with accumulative experience of over 35 years. BILLCHEM operates from headquarter in Penang and has a nationwide outreach with sales and service representatives across Malaysia. BILLCHEM specializes in providing total chemical solutions for various industrial and commercial applications. Our expertise is on cleaning chemicals that includes all grades of detergents, solutions and we also provide value-add services such as consultations on system design that best suit the operations. Currently, BILLCHEM has expanded its business globally to provide commercial, industrial cleaning and hygiene products and solutions for food safety, food and beverage hygiene, floor care, housekeeping and room care, laundry, hand hygiene, metal and rubber industrial cleaning chemicals.

Qualifications & experience

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Science (Chemistry or related discipline) or equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience in a manufacturing industry, preferably in the Chemical industry. (Fresh graduate are also welcome to apply)
• Good project management skill, problem solving skill, team player and with good initiative.
• Strong sense of urgency, responsibility and discipline.
• Self-driven with positive working attitude, have strong attention to details, able to plan and execute task in timely basis.
• Possess good analytical and communication skills and must be able to work under minimal supervision.
• Good command of English, Mandarin and Bahasa (spoken and written).

Tasks & responsibilities

• Conduct study for regulatory compliance, quality improvement, or cost reduction of existing products.
• Provide technical support on production process, raw material analysis, quality troubleshooting, engineering design, and customer inquiries.
• Assist in design and develop new products, processes, and services to meet customer requirements.
• To responsible for chemical control in R&D department regarding chemical classification and safety data sheets of chemicals and developed products.
• Ensure all lab equipment is well maintained, utilized in proper manner and calibrated periodically.
• To perform other job related duties as may be assigned by the management.
• New product registration, product re-registration and any changes to the current registration including documents and samples for submission (CHRA, Halal, JKKP, GMP, Poison License, SIRIM (Eco-Labeling), MSDS, Catalogue etc.)
• Handle workplace inspections, audits, production planning, maintain documentation and Application: CHRA, DOE, Halal, JKKP, GMP, Poison and review the HSE policies and procedures.
