Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for analysing, designing, developing, debugging and testing SAP (BL SAP) reports, enhancements, interfaces, forms, workflows and conversion programs.
  • Attend to SAP IT service requests/tasks assigned.
  • Perform daily production SAP support activities (e.g. production SAP related issues).
  • Provide SAP support on production and finance related issues before month end to ensure a smooth month-end close.
  • Provide SAP support during finance quarter/month end closing period.
  • Coach and conduct training to end users whenever needed.
  • Participate in projects as and when required.
  • Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, and software applications.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Monitor network and system performance, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Implement and maintain IT security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and data encryption.
  • Manage the company's data backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
  • Experience in managing virtualization technologies.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing-specific software and systems, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
  • Provide technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues and providing timely resolution.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights to ensure data security and confidentiality.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for enhancements to the company's IT infrastructure.
  • Document IT processes, procedures, and configurations to ensure effective knowledge sharing and standardization.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical, technical and troubleshooting skills to debug and resolve technical issues.
  • Proficiency in SAP ABAP and at least 5 years of SAP ABAP programming experiences is required for this position.
  • Having ABAP experience in at least 1 or more of these SAP modules: FI/CO/SD/MM/PP/WM/QM
  • Experience in data migration tools and processes.
  • Strong knowledge of network administration, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and protocols.
  • Experience in server administration, virtualization, and cloud computing platforms.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office applications, including data analysis, formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
  • Familiarity with database management and SQL.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), are preferred.
  • Experience in a Manufacturing or Industrial environment is a plus.
