Job Description:

  • Manage and oversee the steam boilers operation including, maintaining the efficiency, safe operation and effective preventive maintenance of boilers operation and boiler water treatment.
  • Establish, review & maintain Standard Operating Procedures for boiler operation based on manufacturer's recommended operating.
  • Responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting of steam facilities and activities in line with DOSH (JKKP) and audit requirements.
  • Provide Engineering support for process development and improvement initiatives.
  • Design, develop and adapt equipment used in research to obtain desired results.
  • Conduct trouble shooting and take counter measure pertaining to utility equipment.
  • Perform in process studies to determine the most efficient methods.

Requirement:

  • At least Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Must possess Steam Boiler Driver's Certificate of Competency with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health, Malaysia (DOSH).
  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin speaking is an advantage.
  • At least 2-5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
