About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced English and Chinese Teacher to join our dynamic team at HLC EDUCATION SDN BHD' in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. As a full-time educator, you will play a crucial role in shaping the academic and personal growth of our students, helping them develop strong language skills and a love for learning.

What you'll be doing

  • Delivering engaging and interactive English and Chinese language lessons to primary school students
  • Developing lesson plans and teaching materials that cater to the diverse learning needs of students
  • Assessing student progress and providing feedback to support their academic development
  • Collaborating with the teaching team to implement effective teaching strategies and share best practices
  • Participating in extracurricular activities and school events to foster a positive learning environment
  • Maintaining accurate student records and communicating with parents/guardians to ensure their child's progress

What we're looking for

  • A recognised teaching qualification or degree in Education, with a specialisation in teaching English and Chinese languages
  • Minimum 2 years of experience teaching in a primary school setting
  • Strong command of the English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the diverse learning styles of students
  • Enthusiasm for creating a stimulating and nurturing learning environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
