: Full Stack Lead – Frontend (Angular)

Job Description:

As a
Full Stack Lead specializing in angular frontend

development, you will play a pivotal role in leading our development team to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using Angular, NodeJS and Java. You will work closely and collaboratively in tandem with the Backend Lead, who focuses primarily on Java backend solutions, ensuring seamless integration of frontend and backend components. Together, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of front-end and back-end components, delivering exceptional user experience and meeting business requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for keeping up with emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and fellow developers to design and implement robust software solutions.
• Collaborate with Application Architect and Backend Lead to create architecture, design, and development of full-stack applications using Angular on the frontend and Java on the backend.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all front-end-related matters, ensuring consistency in design and implementation across the application.
• Participating in daily standup, sprint planning, retrospective meetings during project implementation phase.
• Review code, ensure adherence to defined processes, coding standards, and perform performance optimization.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using Angular, ensuring optimal performance across various devices and browsers.
• Identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and other development challenges.
• Work with databases and data models to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and manipulation.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies and propose relevant improvements to the development process.
• Collaborate with other technical leads and DevOps engineers to own and manage DevOps processes including CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and monitoring.

Skills

• 5 + years of experience, including at least 2 years as a senior or lead engineer role with hands-on expertise in Angular.
• Strong hands-on experience with Angular 10+ (preferably Angular 15 or higher).
• Experience in upgrading Angular 15 to the latest stable versions is a plus.
• Strong understanding of web development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Solid backend experience with NodeJS or Java.
• Deep understanding of REST APIs, JWT, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
• Experience with Git, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and containerization (e.g., Docker).
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Jest).
• Experience with front-end state management libraries (e.g., Redux) and front-end build tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.).
• Proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Excellent understanding of OWASP standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience using IDE tools like Visual Studio Code.

Education and Certification

• Associate, bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Certification in
  AWS Certified: Developer Associate or equivalent

is a plus.
