Group Financial Reporting Analyst

Location : Tampoi, Johor

Employment Type : Full-Time

Salary : Competitive, up to RM11,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications

Working Days: 5 days

Language Requirement: Mandarin-speaking preferred (to liaise with internal stakeholders)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes across the group.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide insights to management.
  • Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance and mitigate financial risks.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
  • Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions and ensure accurate consolidation eliminations.
  • Prepare and distribute financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Variance Analysis).
  • Collaborate with tax specialists on tax compliance, planning, and documentation.
  • Support additional tasks as assigned by management.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification (CPA, CA, or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial reporting, accounting, or consolidation.
  • Prior experience in group accounting or consolidation roles is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in variance analysis, forecasting, and financial ratios.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail, particularly in preparing accurate statements and reconciling intercompany transactions.
  • Mandarin-speaking is preferred to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and group companies.
