Group Financial Reporting Analyst

Salary : Competitive, up to RM11,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications
Working Days: 5 days
Language Requirement: Mandarin-speaking preferred (to liaise with internal stakeholders)
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- Coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes across the group.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide insights to management.
- Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance and mitigate financial risks.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
- Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions and ensure accurate consolidation eliminations.
- Prepare and distribute financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Variance Analysis).
- Collaborate with tax specialists on tax compliance, planning, and documentation.
- Support additional tasks as assigned by management.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification (CPA, CA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial reporting, accounting, or consolidation.
- Prior experience in group accounting or consolidation roles is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in variance analysis, forecasting, and financial ratios.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail, particularly in preparing accurate statements and reconciling intercompany transactions.
- Mandarin-speaking is preferred to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and group companies.
