About the role

Qthaam Arabian Restaurant, a leading provider of authentic Arabian cuisine, is seeking a talented and dedicated Kitchen Crew to join our team in Kota Kinabalu and Tuaran, Sabah. As a Kitchen Crew member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our customers. What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and cooking a variety of Arabian dishes according to our restaurant's recipes and quality standards
  • Ensuring proper food storage, handling, and sanitation practices are followed
  • Assisting in the daily operations of the kitchen, including cleaning, stocking, and maintaining a clean and organised work environment
  • Collaborating with the culinary team to enhance and refine our menu offerings
  • Providing exceptional customer service by delivering orders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

  • At least 1 year of experience working in a professional kitchen or similar food service environment
  • Strong knowledge of Arabian cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment
