RMA Planner – Scope of Work
Purpose:
Ensure efficient handling of product returns, repairs, and replacements to maintain customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Return Authorization
- Validate customer return requests against warranty and policy.
- Issue RMA numbers and provide return instructions.
Logistics Coordination
- Arrange and track shipments for returned goods.
- Ensure timely delivery to repair centers or vendors.
Inspection & Analysis
- Coordinate product testing and failure analysis.
- Document findings for quality improvement.
Resolution Execution
- Plan repair, replacement, or credit issuance.
- Maintain compliance with SLAs and company policies.
Inventory & Material Planning
- Manage service inventory for replacements.
- Plan material requirements for repairs/refurbishment.
Data Management & Reporting
- Track RMAs in ERP systems for traceability.
- Generate reports on return trends and costs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with customer service, quality, production, and suppliers.
- Support OEM/EMS partners in repair strategies.
Continuous Improvement
- Use RMA data for quality and design enhancements.
- Implement best practices to reduce return rates.
Required Skills
- ERP system proficiency (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Knowledge of warranty and repair processes.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM2, RM4,000.00 per month
